Japanese tsunami and earthquakes cause bonds to go higher oil to fall

without comments

After the powerful earth quakes and tsunami hit Japan several things happened in the market. One since oil refineries in Japan are not able to refine the petroleum oil will fall as a results because there is more oil in the market than can be refined. Two Japans bonds rose after the quake on fears on the country not being able to repay loans due to catastrophic damage. There will be many more sure bets as a result of this event such as clean up companies and rebuilding companies etc.

The Boeing Company vs EADS

without comments

Since The Boeing Company won the 35 Billion dollar contract for the new super tankers it would make sense to get in on The Boeing Company and the bet against EADS that it stocks will fall. We will play with an imaginary $100,000 on these two bets and wager a 50/50 to each.

Currently we would have bought The Boeing Company at $70.76 a share and shorted EADS at 21 a share both current stockĀ  prices at this time.

Hello and welcome to Bet On The News

with one comment

This website was set up on the idea that we would allow any adult in the World who has a nickel to be apart of a massive hedge fund that bets on the news stories that are the best way to put it no brainers. We do not want to bet on every news story that breaks but the one or two a month that are major and down the have a team of market professionals and psychologists that rate the major stories and than bet on the one that again is a no brainer with the best profit potential.

I do not know how long it will take to raise the capital to launch this venture but I am actively seeking venture capital to launch this website and fund if you have any interest please contact us at the email address here.
